The presence of minerals and high proportion of crystal water, is providing Coolux very good cooling properties in case of fire.   FXL is an intumescent material which expands without pressure in the case of fire. FXL has good mechanical properties and is fibreless. In case of a fire, the material forms - even at high temperature (900°C); a stable, micro porous, heat-shielding layer.
