FIREPROOF BOARDS AND STRIPS

 

Dornex supplies various types of fireproof boards and strips that can be used for fireproofing of doors, walls and for protecting ceilings, floors and (between) walls. We also supply a powdered product called Coolux, which has the unique property that it can be casted into any shape required. This product also possesses excellent cooling properties and can be used for cooling steel and aluminum profiles.  

 

 

  • Fiboard® M

    Fiboard® M is a non-combustible board based on magnesium oxide. The material is weather- and moisture resistant and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. When the board comes into contact with moisture, it will regain its original thickness after drying, without any effect on its long-term performance. Fiboard® M is easily worked and can be cut, drilled, etc. using normal tools.

  • Coolmax

    Coolmax is a so-called "sandwich element". It is made of several thin layers of fireproof boards on a sillicate base, separated by a fire-resistant paste. Because of the layered structure Coolmax is very suitable for cooling aluminum and steel profiles. And as with all our products, it is asbestos free.
    By using Coolmax strips in aluminum profiles a 60 minutes fire resistance is achievable.

  • Coolux

    Coolux is a non-combustible pourable sealing compound with a lightweight concrete base. The presence of minerals and high proportion of crystal water, is providing Coolux verry good cooling properties in case of fire. Coolux is delivered as powder, to be mixed with water. It can also be delivered in ready to use shape.
