Fiboard® Glue G7 is a water-based heat-resistant adhesive. Designed for bonding and joining of various materials such as concrete, wood, steel, stone and glass. Fiboard® Glue G7 may well be used as a glue which the resistance to the spread of flame is required. With a maximum continuous operating temperature of 1.000º C.

Guidelines for use

• Stir the contents of the can well before use.
• The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and degreases.
• Light sanding of the surface increases the adhesion.
• Apply Fiboard^® Glue with a brush or spray gun. This must be completed within 5 to 10 minutes.
• Spread the glue evenly and press it lightly to confirm material.

 

 

Applications and processing

• Since Fiboard^® Glue is based on water, it is necessary to dry completely.
• The drying of this product may vary. This depends on temperature, humidity, porosity, volume, etc.
• Drying time when used at room temperature and with an average humidity is about 36-48 hours.
• Drying can be accelerated by heating, with a maximum of 98° C.
• The adhesive strength does not diminish over time.
• Adhesive residues can be removed with boiling water / steam.

Available sizes and storage

Fiboard® Glue G7 comes in cans of 1, 5 or 25 liters in 300ml tube. Once opened this product is sensitive to humidity. Exposure to air should be avoided. The product must be in original packaging stored in a dry area with temperatures between 5º C and 30º C.
